I think it is not complete if we are in vacation in Lombok but no visit Senggigi beach. Slooping conture, and usually become a place for tourist to relax, swimming or hunting for sunset. More than that, Senggigi Beach became the tourist place to spend the night in Lombok.
Name Senggigi Beach may be familiar to a number of tourists. Especially for the tourists who have visit on the island of Lombok before.
So, what really makes this beach became so famous? Is the landscape? In my opinion, the view on the beach is actually very ordinary, and became more regular when juxtaposed with the name of another place that is much more attractive, such as Tanjung Aan and Gili Trawangan, whose name has soared among foreign tourists.
According to me, the name soared Senggigi Beach is not because the scenery is apparently normal, at least according to my subjective opinion when it was first located on Senggigi Beach. But because the supporting facilities, existing facilities and infrastructures here.
When in Bali Kuta Beach where there are much much luxury hotels of world-class, then in the same Lombok Island Senggigi Beach. Equating Kuta and Senggigi Beach is probably overkill, but that's a quick overview about Senggigi Beach. The beach is filled with hotels, the resorts, cottages, and bungalows that support tourism was the mainstay of West Nusa Tenggara.
Before visiting a place, first usually i looking for about the view what will i see. At least, i am try to find out using Google (people in indonesia said mbah Google). Same think i do before i arrive in lombok island.
Far away days, i try to find out about primary tourism place in Lombok, including Senggigi beach. The reason is because some people say that in this beach have some cheap home stay (inn) which suitable for backpacker traveller :-).
Once there, after afternoon, me and some friends who become friends for travelling in Lombok, find cheap accommodation at a price of Rp. 150,000 / night. Pretty cheap is it? The name is Shinta inn, located adjacent to the Senggigi Art Market.
I am quite curious about what looks lilke the beautiful of Senggigi Beach, at least it presented a number of writings and photographs in cyberspace. Before you lay down to rest, we took to the beach. Unfortunately, the darkness of the night made us can not enjoy the real view of the beach.
The next morning, we went straight to Senggigi Beach. How disappointed we saw that morning beach scene is beyond expectations and the photos we have seen so far. The sand on the beach is black, not white as we see in cyberspace.
Ah, we understand the end, maybe that is presented in the virtual world it is best photographs of people who upload them. Although we were a little disappointed, but we do not want to waste time to immortalize themselves with the background of Senggigi Beach. Moreover, even the sand on the beach is not white, but the sea water at the beach is very clear. This excess maybe, Senggigi Beach.

The next day, while dropping some backpacker friends from Jakarta to Port Bangsal who will soon cross over to Gili Trawangan, I just get the other side of Senggigi Beach. It seems the beach is beautiful, especially when viewed from altitude.

The four of us it was a moment to enjoy the Senggigi Beach from heights. Ah, apparently seeing something that is not enough just from one side, but look at it from the other side. At the very least, the disappointment we previously could a little relieved. Try it for yourself to see Senggigi Beach from the heights with your own eyes.
